Dmitry, see if you can find an earlier thread in which Jeff and Cetin highlighted problems with DATETIME query ranges and coarse second ticks. For new work, DATETIME2 is often preferable. The classic SQL Driver is fine for legacy databases with DATETIME and TEXT fields but if querying others' databases, use of newer field types- even DATE- pushes towards a newer Native driver.
Either way, Chen has fixed the issue so with VFPA you can use the newer driver, period.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
