>I'm curious how many people here use SET RELATION data relationships for viewing parent/child local data, as compared to SQL queries / views which load everything into a single file? I've observed that most old school developers (began in the 80s) use SET RELATION, and most newer developers prefer SQL almost exclusively (and I think many would prefer LINQ).

I am also old school (or from 80's) but I don't use Set Relation often either. Actually, I favor SQL mostly over xBase where it is appropriate.
With reports having multiple bands, still use set relation. I also use it, where it would be harder with an SQL too.
