Our company held a user conference for one of our applications on Friday. On the drive home, one company vehicle was hit by a car crossing the center lane on a two-lane road. One co-worker was killed at the scene by their seatbelt. The other two passengers suffered severe spine, neck, face, and other injuries.

Lives can change in an instant. It really gives one cause to reflect on the many safe travels we have, the years of uneventful doldrums, and how precious that all truly is.
