I'm questioning your context that Trump must by lying when he says he is using a dictionary definition rather than a smeary version you insist he meant.

That makes no sort of sense: that nationalistic governments did bad things in the 1930s doesn't change the definition of the word "nationalist" or chain any further use of the word to the atrocities. Next you'll insist that because you once saw a person with dark skin stealing, all people with dark skins must be thieves.
