Is anyone else out there upset with Hentzenwerke for not including a CD in "Hackers Guide for VFP 6.0" even though it is advertised as coming with the book and by itself has a list price of $39.00. I feel somewhat ripped off. I guess I am old fashioned but I really hate downloading files over the internet unless I am going to use them right now. I tend to either lose them, forget about them, or some such. I also don't like on line software documentation - it's really hard to take to the bathroom or to bed. Two years ago or thereabouts I ordered Foxpro advisor with the code supplement. I got 1 disk and then they modernized by making the material available on the internet and no longer sending disks. I never looked at another file - just too much trouble. The same with FoxTalk. I just renewed my subscription and was told they now send material out on CD's. They better or I'm going to lead a revolt.
I feel better now. Sometime you just need someone to talk to...
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
