I don't think so. It works as always. I think they must launch the 32-bit processes to maintain compatibility with 32-bit apps.

We have that problem as well, but our thinking has been that if Outlook can't do it, it probably can't be done. :-) Nevertheless, in our apps we give the user an option to choose "Use Outlook, "Use SMTP," and we allow gmail and yahoo and a couple others.
Some users have Outlook installed, but need to send official emails from a separate email address, so it needs to be setup distinctly for each user.
