We should band together and create a service that is easy-to-use, very inexpensive ($2/year per email address, $10 one-time fee for lifetime service), and allows people from all over the world to send email using the Internet, with a guarantee that it will never change or go away.

A simple API, and let that one server-side solution handle the sending of email from our register domain.
