Please bear in mind that you still have to find out if the Devart drivers are TLS 1.2 capable. SSL for sure; TLS 1.2? I don't know...

A different approach you could investigate is to check on a TLS proxy. Don't ask me for details, for I don't have none to give, but the idea behind it is to allow for TLS negotiation with systems that don't speak TLS.
