>>What we are trying to do is print the active screen (in VFP3.0b). This has to act like pressing the Print Screen button and must work over a LAN. We have managed to capture the active screen in the clipboard, but are not able to print the clipboard contents.

>Just off the top of my head... Look at DDE/OLE and use MS Word. I have done something similar in the past FPW 2.6. It was very rough around the edges, but it worked. I remember opening a word session, issuing a paste and then just issuing a print command. Very simple and to the point. The application error routine was involved in this stuff. I think I printed out the errors to an errorlog.dbf. This also included a memo field to store List Memory and List Status stuff. Then I gave the user an option to print the error report with or without a screen snapshot. Later, I found that most users did not care to print the screen and I did not find much use in it either. But, a client requested the functionality and I complied. Well, htwh... Steve

sounds familiar. if i'm going to be printing screens, i just open up paint. can't do much with it, but we usually just use it as extra info when bug tracking.
