Sure it is. It actually is a no brainer. If I buy an IPhone which violates a Samsung patent, I can't ever be held responsible for that.
So my US clients cannot ever be held responsible for using software created outside of the juristiction of US law.

VFP has been discontinued and unsupported for several years now. No-one at Microsoft cares about the product anymore, and now you feel the urge to stir things up and inflict even more damage for the ones who are still using it.
