I don't know how it's in your country but in some situations you can claim "they forced me sign", and some terms would be void. Sample; you find a job and they say "sign this". you can say this at court "I signed that paper for just got that job", or you find a good flat and they say "sign this", again you can say this "I signed that paper for just hire that flat". Not in all cases, but some cases...

My personal idea MS has rights with VFP but they ended developing of VFP. Many of people got harm because of this decision. Maybe your government should be force MS to sell VFP to another company.
