Ask somne of those guys in email to get in here and share their points of view. As for not basing on facts (or only on facts) what else do you base your conclusions on? Emotions, feelings, hypotheses, theories, star gazing?
Is it at all possible that you have built your own framework and now cannot see this issue objectively anymore? Would you really suggest to a client or employer that they should spend 75,000 to 100,000 instead of 600 and some modifications and updates?
