>>Public policy ensures severe censure if it's done to avoid paying you, or to replicate your live product or otherwise deny you revenues from your product. But if they've paid your invoices and now act to fix bugs or security holes or to ensure interoperability you fail to address, my understanding is that they are allowed to and that you've no complaint.

It is a known fact that the intellectual properties and rights are not respected in China. My wife was in China twice and personally saw how they openly sell Rosetta Stone French and Spanish for $20 each (since I study both she pays attention to my needs :) And they don’t sell these DVD with unmarked labels but in the packaging that looks exactly how would buy it in Barnes and Nobles store. And many other CDs and DVDs. And in case you don’t know, Rosetta Stone cost about US$300 in BN.

I am sure the only reason some Chinese developer has not yet decompiled my software because is it would cause him/her high blood pressure to figure out my code :)

Having said it, Chen is probably a brilliant guy. But I don’t think there is a future in his work. I asked the question here and probably, other than John Ryan, nobody uses his product.
