>>>Many other modern development toolsets. You can, in ~30 MB, have forms, reports, queries, business logic, etc. It's a petite package, nicely presented, capable, extensible. It's just an amazing tool.
>>It is and was. But I think there are many amazing tools today.

>There are. But I still hold that none of them are in the same league as VFP. VFP boasted a tremendous host of abilities for its tiny form factor. She's like the tiny little gymnast who walk out onto the mat, begins her routine with finesse, style, poise, and grace, and when you're done you cannot help but stand up and applaud her performance as you watch her receive 10.0, 10.0, 10.0, and maybe a 9.9 from the Russian judge. :-)

>She deserves to continue on. And I still have plans to complete Visual FreePro, Jr. and Visual FreePro. I have a course to get there, and it's taking time.

hmmm ... I guess that I just take a far more practical approach to coding. VFP for me is a tool, like the hammer I have lying in the garage; it does a job for me which is putting nails into things. If someone sold me another tool that did that job faster/easier/cheaper and/or replaced the need for nails entirely I would buy it and throw away the hammer. I'm not in the VFP coding business. I'm in the business of providing solutions to my client's problems however I can.
