>>>Riiiiight. That's overall pretty lame dude. There is no question that the man made climate change we are experiencing now is not a good thing - it's a bad thing. It's also clear that some people do not give a crap because they are old enough that they will be dead in 20 years, so instead of caring about the next generation they just say screw them and the whole planet. You'd think people would care about their kids but guess not enough.
>>
>>Rephrase embolded as "probably caused most of warmup" and I'll agree - to my knowledge there is NO clear theory on cause of recurring and identifiable sorce of climate changes before industrialization. I do not think deforestation of some areas for ship-building wood registered...

>There is no question that humans are destroying the environment and that humans can at least slow the process down - if they're willing too. This is not a theory it is a fact. The coral reefs will all be gone within my lifetime, sea levels will rise enough to force millions to relocate -- water shortage problems, and then there is the food supply problem...etc etc etc.
>Have you looked at the latest science reports on all of this? Thus far the only thing they have had to modify is that their predictions on how soon it is happening has been off -- as it is happening at a faster pace. This is all horrible news. When the planet warms up another 2°C we are in huge trouble. Do you know what the differences are between what happens if it's 2°C. instead of 1.5°C.? Stopping warming at 1.5°C. is going to require major, sustained global action. Plus keep in mind that a2°C increase in the average global temperature means that temperature increases across the board are a lot more than 2°C.
>I find it amazing that this is the one thing that all the scientists agree on yet people still don't want to believe it. I suppose that denying facts is better than facing impending doom or actually getting off one's ass to do something about it? I just don't get it -- especially when the effects of it are happening right in front of people right NOW.
>Governments can make a difference -- for example just take a look at catalytic converters. Not only can you see the skyline in L.A. now instead of smog, look how much the lead level in humans has dropped since we did these things.
>Meanwhile - we have a dipshit president who wants to bring back coal and doesn't even believe his own administrations science reports....uggg.

I take it you'd not like living on Giedi Prime?
