>> It appears that the reporters in the press core have just about had enough of this and these press conferences are getting more and more heated.

CNN aired parts of the last White Press conference with hostile scrolling verbiage. In an age when press coverage of the administration is greater than 95% negative, one way to prevent such antics is not to hold press briefings at all. Communicate with the people some other way and the 95% naysayers can't disguise their partisan behavior as news any more.

BTW, in that most recent press briefing, Huckabee-Sanders was pleased to announce the banning of bump stocks, something that previous administrations claimed was beyond their power. Isn't it good that semi-autos can no longer be converted to illegal machine guns as used in one of the recent mass shootings? Yet an internet search on "bump stock" yields little of interest apart from Feinstein saying not to celebrate too soon because administrations can change their mind and also there's a law suit on it. The apparent boycott on good news is consistent with the briefing with not one question on bump stocks, only on repetitive snipes about Flynn and other politically loaded efforts to embarrass. Why bother?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
