Nope it is not... Its time for a total rewrite.

Not really, its an opportunity to start from a blank slate and add things that were not possible at the time it originally was implemented. For example using gestures, copying and pasting contents of that is one the screen, high DPI settings, resizing screens with CTRL+ and CTRL- and rethinking the GUI from square one.
We are not going for the cheap and easy route. It has to be done well.
