We are not interested in keep the current code. We have to move on. There are a number of reasons to jump ship:
- We want to outphase the entire VFP codebase as it becomes more difficult to get VFP developers, let alone to work in teams in the same office.
- Its easier to get young C# programmers proficient in C#, HTML 5 and SQL server
- As far as your claim of 1% to 2% code adaption. I don't buy that. We have gone through that process before for a relatively small project and it was far more complex than just code adaptation.
