Meant just as a side joke and not to disparage the product in any way - we have a fox running around in our neighborhood. It was "barking" after midnight (and was quite loud)

Hard to believe it's been just a shade over 29 years since FoxPro 1.0 came out (if I recall, it was released in late November/early December 1989). A very big and important product release - and it punched dBase and Clipper right in the mouth. (Of course, dBase had already shot itself in the foot earlier in the year with dBase IV, and Nantucket released a huge piece of junk a year later with Clipper 5.0).

I always think fondly of major releases of SQL Server, but that first release of FoxPro 1.0 was so much more - something you see once in a lifetime.
