Very true....I fought this same situation for about a week. and I still cannot get an EXE created with the distribution files to recognize a config.fpw with the -c parameter. I currently am using an APP running it directly with VFP.EXE with a -c. The application I am working with won't even recognize the config.fpw if I put it in the project. I've got a second project (different application) that works just fine, so I'm convinced that there is something in my application that doesn't like configuration files. Parts of it were written by another programmer, and when I get the time, I'll have to dig into his code.
