If you are truely interested I have lots of code available - including code that will allow python 3.x to work (one exception the grid). That said, you are right the website has not changed forever! To make it worse the authors have moved on. There are a few of out there - sort like the foxpro family. As far as changes or updates - I wonder what needs changing? Dabo has all the UI controls that I have ever come across in my 30 years - if you want something different just write it (it's very easy). Of course we are talking about a desktop app on either Linux, Mac, or Windows - if you are looking for mobile or web you have to use a different framework - kivy, or Django.

The few that use Dabo normally don't access the website or post on dabo forum. There are several reasons for this - one is no one is watching the forum (including the authors). You would be very lucky to get one of the authors to respond to a question. I still do watch but not very often. The other reason is this is python - so if there is something you don't like or if you feel you discovered a bug change it. I haven't seen a bug report for many months - even then I responded and discovered that it wasn't a bug just a difference of opinion.

The last ten years or so I have had an intern (paid) each school year - I was teach them two thing python and database SQL. They end up learning Dabo in a few days (but the sql take much longer) and most of them have move on to work with major corps. A few are still using Dabo today for small projects at work.

I have also converted several large Fox programs to Dabo and added many new features along the way (like texting, emailing, banking, ftping, etc..).

Hopes this helps!
