Only a fool can't see that this 'wall' that Trump wants is just a symbol of Trump's racist ideology and that there is no national emergency requiring the shutdown of the government to build a wall. He's simply walked himself into a corner here as he had the 'build the wall' chants going and that is what his followers (or at least his fellow racist followers) want. Instead of asking Jim Acosta why don't you ask Representative Steve King of Iowa about racist anti-immigration tactics used by the republicans and reaaaally used by Trump. Oh and might look at Trump's life-long history racism too. It's just fear-mongering racist hate Kevin.
