Do you know whether they record your searches and IP locations like Google and others? Paranoia says we ought to assume they do, unfortunately. Personally I've switched non-business browsing to ExpressVPN and replaced Google with DuckDuckGo via Mozilla and email via Android K9 and Windows Thunderbird, to minimize opportunities to package up and sell my online activity.

Ironically, Craig B used to say on UT that Google was the privacy threat, not Microsoft, and he was discounted as a MS apologist... but today it seems he was correct. Perhaps the safest principle is that the venality of tech corporate behavior is in direct ratio to market dominance.
