Any report generated by VFP (either through the report wizard or through the migration tool) will not run on my HP LaserJet6P. I get the message:
There was an error writing to LPT1:
for the printer HP LaserJet 6P/6MP

The printer is out of paper.
Add more paper.

The printer isn't out of paper. When I run the same report on one of our network printers (HP LaserJet IIIsi), it runs fine.

Reports that I generate from scratch (using the old report writer) run
fine on both the LaserJet 6P and LaserJet IIIsi - the only ones that fail are those created by VFP.

I downloaded and installed the most recent 6P drivers from HP - still doesn't work. When I set the default print driver to HP LaserJet Series II and send the output to my local printer (LaserJet 6P) it prints fine. Sure looks like crappy drivers.

Since we all have to work with this stuff, bad or not - does anyone have a work-around (or does anyone know what Fox is sending to the printer that it does not like). Any insight would be appreciated!
