Muller is not going to hold back on releasing his findings for the sake of some political purpose based upon his decades long track record. Plus the guy is a Republican so the thinking that he would do this to help the democrats really makes no sense....and again I point to his decades long track record.
As far as Trump tossing Jared or anyone else under the bus -- yeah Trump would probably toss everyone and their dog under the buss to save his own skin including his own children -- with the possible exception of Ivanka.
