>>Are you talking about the actor that might of faked his attack? That does not fall into the category of 'fake news'. Poor or bad reporting perhaps ... but hardly what I would consider 'fake'. As a side note --try putting the blame where it belongs - -which is with the actor who lied. And it's my understanding they're still looking into if he lied or not (but at the time it looks like he probably did).
Think about it -- someone reports a crime to police -- reporter reports on that. How is that fake? Now it comes out that someone lied when filing a police report -- so reporter reports on that. It has to be something completely made up by the reporter to be fake, yes?

First, it was a pun.

Second, ask yourself why this person thought it would be beneficial to issue such a smear against Trump supporters.

At first it worked: Fake News orchestrated an outpouring of love and sympathy after this wonderful person was attacked by those awful deplorables. Unfortunately the attack wasn't on camera so footage could be cycled 24/7 on CNN like the racist Catholic MAGA schoolboy bullying the Native American: this one happened under a camera, but the camera was pointing the wrong way. Even so: this is America today, tut tutted CNN. (They're right, but not for the reason they imply.) This is what Trump's rhetoric has led us to, scolded celebrities and stars via Fake News. Trump needs to apoligize for this attack by his supporters- but of course he won't, declared a CBS talking head. No doubt Jim Carey released one of his defamatory paintings of MAGA supporters. On and on it went by people willing to hoover down any outlandish story that fits the narrative, even this cartoonish effort. Finally today a CNN reporter observes that Chicago at 2am in a cold snap is not MAGA country. Ya don't say- but it's only being said because the Chicago Police did a sterling job not just in investigating but in sharing info, knowing they too would be attacked/blamed if they didn't pretend uncritical acceptance of the narrative. Note the use of leaks so cops keep their hands clean: there's no monopoly on use of precedents you set and this is where your country is going when some people are so censorious and vicious.

BTW, for those proposing a 70% tax on the rich: the richest man in the UK has just announced is quitting the UK for the tax haven of Monaco. His departure will deprive the UK of over $5B tax per annum.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
