How could a rich person living in Monaco not enjoy it? lol. This fear that if you raise taxes on the rich that they'll all flee the USA doesn't add to up me. If you reside in another country you still have to pay taxes here unless you're willing to give up your USA passport and citizenship. Plus if they're not paying any taxes now and on the off-chance they did give up citizenship -- what loss is there if they weren't paying anything to begin with? I will also say that we shouldn't have a system that allows 3 people in the USA to have more money than the poorest 160 million (1/2 the people in the country) - what we have is kings and that is not how our system is supposed to function.

Oh yes - the 'we are doing you a favor' thing is one of the most annoying things in the world for me. Many years ago I stopped into a check-cashing store (a place I would normally have nothing to do with) - I had a check for less than 100 bucks I'd had in my wallet for a few weeks and decided I'd stop there an cash it as it was next door to where I was eating. The guy behind the bullet proof glass was taking FOREVER -- I'd been in there for like 20 minutes - I finally asked him hey what's the hold up here? And the guy snapped back at me letting me know that I can just wait because he "was doing me a favor". ooo that pissed me off so much. Needless to say I left (with my check) and eventually got around to dropping it off at my bank -- but to this day I recall how pissed that made me. uggg!
