>>>The notion that someone is doing anyone else a favor by paying for services rendered hearkens back to feudal times.
>>>It's nonsense. Amazon makes billions off those wages.
>>
>>Oh yes - the 'we are doing you a favor' thing is one of the most annoying things in the world for me. Many years ago I stopped into a check-cashing store (a place I would normally have nothing to do with) - I had a check for less than 100 bucks I'd had in my wallet for a few weeks and decided I'd stop there an cash it as it was next door to where I was eating. The guy behind the bullet proof glass was taking FOREVER -- I'd been in there for like 20 minutes - I finally asked him hey what's the hold up here? And the guy snapped back at me letting me know that I can just wait because he "was doing me a favor". ooo that pissed me off so much. Needless to say I left (with my check) and eventually got around to dropping it off at my bank -- but to this day I recall how pissed that made me. uggg!

>Absolutely, Victor.
>Stay PO'd.
>You should be.
>The super-rich are the bad guys here.
>I've dealt with some of the people who run those check cashing companies.
>They make billions off the backs of the very poor and they are amoral.

The other biggie is those damn payday loan places with dirtbags like this guy

...only heard about that guy because a few years ago some of his race cars went up for auction. And speaking of cars there are plenty of predators in that too with all the buy-here-pay-here and car-title loan places.

>It's not that poor SOB you dealt with at that check cashing company. He's probably making minimum wage- he's one of us.

True - it was just someone needing a job.

>It has nothing to do with walls, rifles, Russians, fake news, email servers, where people pee or wedding cakes.

Also true -- but there is political implications here. It's these types of businesses that need to be regulated properly - not be in roll-back-regulations mode. Here is a funny take on the car loan biz...

...funny take on it -- but it actually is a serious problem.

>We shall overcome.

Yes we shall.
