>I have a C/S app I developed and I have a Connection defined in the Data Manager for my remote views to SQL Server. I also have a setup form for the client that includes a button to access the Connection Manager. I wanted this so the client can change the server name if the DB is moved. In the Click of the button I open the DB, and MODIFY CONNECTION MyConnect. It works fine in development environment BUT when I move it to a client W/S it crashes. Any ideas why and how I can use the connection manager in the app to modify it?

To be honest, I have never used that connection manager. Instead I have a UI project that gets the connection information for MS SQL Server, encrypts and saves it in a table, which later app uses to connect. If you want, I can strip its dependencies this weekend and send the project to you, so you could do a 'delete connection', 'create connection connstring ....' at the end where it saves the connection info. The UI looks very much like MS SQL server's own connection dialog (it actually works as a connection info for either Fox or MS SQL db - attaching the page for MS SQL Server).
Just inform me if you want it.
