>Hi,

>I have a C/S app I developed and I have a Connection defined in the Data Manager for my remote views to SQL Server. I also have a setup form for the client that includes a button to access the Connection Manager. I wanted this so the client can change the server name if the DB is moved. In the Click of the button I open the DB, and MODIFY CONNECTION MyConnect. It works fine in development environment BUT when I move it to a client W/S it crashes. Any ideas why and how I can use the connection manager in the app to modify it?

MODIFY CONNECTION is on the list of commands not available at runtime. Check out the list in Help topic "Distributable and Restricted Visual FoxPro Features and Files"
