Don't mind at all, thanks for asking.

I've pretty much maintained the good numbers for over a year.

Two years ago:

195 lbs
BP 170 over 120 at the highest
A1C was 10.8
Cholesterol about 250 (and the 'bad' number was very high)

Today (and pretty much the same numbers for the last year)

145 lbs (I've gone between 140 and 145)
BP is usually from 110-70 to 120-80. And even when I think my BP "feels" high, it's normal when I take it.
A1C in the 5.1 to 5.2 range. What's kind of odd, my "fasting" number is still pretty high normal, but my numbers after eating are fine.
Cholesterol (last checked) was 120..... HDL was 51, Triglycerides were 78 and LDL was 53.

I only take a small dose of metformin these days and my doctor wants me to stop taking it.
I'll be on BP meds rest of my life, but that doesn't bother me.

But really the biggest medication that has helped me is fluoxetine. Having fought mild depression and severe anxiety all my life, fluoxetine has been a wonder drug. I've been on it for almost a year and a half and it has helped me greatly.

I still get a kick out of seeing people I haven't seen in a year or two...they take one look at me and say, "you know, you look like someone carved you in half" :)
