>>No that is a HUGE problem -- can't defend the CNN anchor for such behavior -- it was flat out wrong.

It wasn't the anchor, it was a known senior DNC operative given a role inside CNN with access to the questions. To pretend it's all on her, is like secretly slipping the pee pee dossier to an anti-Trump GOP Senator eager to hand it over to the FBI, and then acting surprised. Gosh, did he really? That's on him.

>>I would like to point out that there is a difference between antisemitism and having a problem with the actions of the Israel government - those are two completely different things.

So why mix them up? The allegation is that US citizens have dual loyalty or are buying influence, both antisemitic memes used to devastating effect in the last century. You've got Jewish civic leaders pointing out that there are large Somali communites and I believe NY's largest Jewish community in her electorate so she was ideally placed to build bridges between the two- but it seems she's demolishing bridges according to them. It would be totally dishonest to pretend this relates to anti-Israel rhetoric to give it a pass if you call Trump Hitler for saying Fake News.

>>In regards to 'comparing Trump to Nazi Germany' -- yeah that sounds bad - when you take it grossly out of context and disregard every single point I made and disregard everything I said and why. Good try -- but fail...similar to the fox-news omission tactics I suppose.

You did compare Trump to Nazi Germany, and you do rely on verbal sleights of hand to excuse familiar antisemetic tropes by your own.

FWIW, at the weekend WAPO joined CNN in snipping Trump's Infrastructure Q&A session to make it look as if he was supporting neo-Nazis, antisemitism etc. There's a high bar for Trump to sue MSM thanks to the 1964 SCOTUS Sullivan vs NYT, but wilful malice is one of the allowed grounds for a public figure to sue media. We few educated folk who spent one minute reading the unsnipped transcript I provided last week, will realize how difficult it will be for WAPO or CNN to justify its behavior as anything except malicious defamation. Meanwhile I see the defamed Covington boy is calling CNN's coverage vicious and worse than WAPO, so anticipating a more than $250M suit according to his attorney.

If Trump is forced to sue Fake News, the US is descending to a dark dangerous place. The MSM will be discredited and has disqualified itself from the holding to account role it's had since the establishment of the Union. Who or what will take its place?

Meanwhile, Warren talks sense when she discusses whether big tech needs to be broken up to encourage competition and innovation. "Boo Hoo" she says to the prospect of lower monopoly profits. It appears that Trump does not have a monopoly on shaking things up- though she also risks the same tactics she used against him if she pursues this. Hope she knows what she's risking...
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
