>I have Russian immigrant acquaintances who make their own Vodka. They serve it copiously in small glass boots that apparently mean something. I hate to imagine the long chain alcohols in that stuff as it climbs the side of the glass to escape. I've seen grown men in trouble after a few boots, as the Russians look on with benign expressions. Is yours like that?!

Boot as in thing you put on your foot, or the thing in the back of the car? Damn english.

It's a simple 0,05l shot glass. Or a 0,03l which I don't like but have those as well. And dunno about long chain, this is simple ethanol - the methanol I discard and actually use as fuel :). The good part is the essential oils from the fruit - specially with apricot, pear and apple you actually smell the fruit. And there's a simple test of quality: it should slide smoothly through your mouth and throat (not burn!), next it should make you warm between the lungs and should then find where you're hollow and go straight there.
