>>The dropping of of all the icons does help me. I am on a relatively slow connection, so less pictures help the speed.

>>But one of the features dropped that I liked was the 'Email Me' button. If I saw a solution I liked, I would click the 'Email Me' and the message was sent to my inbox. This was available in the UT version, but dropped when it be came LE. Also, the body of the message was also included in email notification messages when someone would reply to one of my postings. Now it is only a generic email tell me there is a reply on message board. I prefer to review the suggested idea, then login and reply. Granted, I can click the 'Save To' button, but this required me to sign-in to view the messages I saved.

>Come to think of it, I actually loved UT Navigator... even managed to write a little wrapper around it to save the messages into local tables, though Michel tried hard to prevent that. Then gradually my connection improved and I found that I don't need to have those messages taking up the space on my disk :).

Over the past four decades I have witnessed various changes in the IT industry. I the beginning, all the processing power was done on Mini and Mainframes and the user worked on dumb terminals. Then along came the PC, and the workload moved to the PC and only the data was store on the servers. More and more features where available to user. Along came the Web, and more and more of those features where moved back to server with only that that is needed presented to the user to use. Now with the introduction of Mobile smart phones, more of the features are needed to be removed. Possibly do to the real-estate (screen area). The same is probably true here.

I wonder what the format of application, like this, will look like when Smart-Watches become the status norm.
