I disabled the automatic Windows update. I followed the suggestion at this site:
https://appuals.com/how-to-turn-off-automatic-restart-on-windows-10This works. Windows no longer reboot my PC overnight, etc. Now, I can do it manually whenever I want to update to run. However, whenever I access the Windows update interface, there is always a red error saying it couldn't perform the Windows updates.
That is normal has I blocked it at the registry. But, if I did, why is it still trying to perform it on its own?
