>>Everyone knows why -- NRA + gun manufactures + money + lobbyists + idiots + chickenshit congress members = no new gun laws.
>>
>>Example A:
>>New Zealand has mass shooting -- new laws in 10 days.
>>USA has had zillion mass shootings since Sandy Hook in Dec 2012 -- still nothing done.
>>
>>We are screwed until the next generation becomes adults and changes the law.

>The only weapons I've ever held were ones that I was required to hold by the US military and I can say with certainty that I'll never hold another one.

I've actually never fired a gun my whole life - although I've been shot at twice (and hit once....uggg).

>It's obvious to me that those people in Wilkes Barre and i have totally different views about firearms.
>You're right about gutless congress members but the states have more control of this issue than the congress.
>Most gun laws are enforced at the county, city or town level and that's probably a good idea.

I agree with you Bill. If you're out in the middle of no-where Montana the gun laws should probably be different than for those in big cities. There are some laws that should be at the federal level I think -- for example there is no good reason for someone to own a semi-automatic AK-47 that holds a zillion bullets no matter where you live in the USA.
