I also can reproduce this error, and the .err file content is not vrey helpful. The error message is;

Visual Class Library c:\vfp98\ffc\_utility.vcx has the following errors:
Visual Class Library - Undefined

I do not believe that this is a pathing issue, but a problem with the _utility.vcx, can you or others reading this reproduce this behavior?
