I do hear some sound in both cases, but no message is displayed when SET NOTIFY is OFF.

I'm going to double check if there is something turning it on.

UPDATE. I just added explicit SET NOTIFY OFF in form's Load and I don't get that message anymore. We had do set_setup in form's load which I believe had the same setting.

Anyway, the problem seems to be solved now.
