Thanks for your reply Chuck. From my understanding from FoxPro's help files...."The most current version of a program modified with the Visual FoxPro editor invoked with MODIFY COMMAND is always executed, regardless of the SET DEVELOPMENT setting. SET DEVELOPMENT needs to be set to ON only when programs are modified outside of Visual FoxPro."

I don't know if you have the Mere Mortal framework (great framework by the way) but in the Dev Manual for MM (on page 43) says "in some instances, VFP will not recompile the file. You may have to delete the associated .fxp file before the .prg will be recompiled correctly."

I have run across this problem before and had heard of it before. From what I understand, it is a pretty well known "feature?" (a.k.a. bug) of FoxPro. That is all I know. Maybe others can enlighten us beyond that.
