Could anybody help me understand the following:
I email a photo from my iPhone to my computer and I choose the actual size (where the phone is like 3 Mb). I save the phone on my computer (from my email). Then I look at the properties of the photo file (on my PC) and it shows the Horizontal and Vertical Resolution as 72 dpi. The width and height are pretty large (in pixels). But why the DPI is so low?
If I wanted to print the jpeg on a large paper, the DPI should be (as far as I know) at least 300 ppi or dpi.
What am I missing (if anything)?
