..and as far as Cuba goes, the United States currently imposes a commercial, economic, and financial embargo against Cuba,
I assume the reason for selective examples is the old typical scare tactic of those who don't understand what DEMOCRATIC socialism is and are unable to distinguish the difference between communist and democratic socialist. We will see a lot of this happening in the coming months because the GOP needs to spread disinformation due to the simple fact that their policies kinda suck - so they can't run on that lol - only option is to lie to people and hope they fall for it.
