>>>Your point is well taken but you're being a bit selective in your examples.
>>>
>>>Why not compare the GDP of China - a Communist county, with that of Greece, a capitalist country?
>>
>>..and as far as Cuba goes, the United States currently imposes a commercial, economic, and financial embargo against Cuba,
>>I assume the reason for selective examples is the old typical scare tactic of those who don't understand what DEMOCRATIC socialism is and are unable to distinguish the difference between communist and democratic socialist. We will see a lot of this happening in the coming months because the GOP needs to spread disinformation
>due to the simple fact that their policies kinda suck - so they can't run on that lol - only option is to lie to people and hope they fall for it.

>People matter more than systems.

The systems can't exist without people creating them -- but the systems are still necessary. And each system of government can always be improved upon - and that is one of the genius of our system - the fact it's designed to adapt with the changing times. At the moment, however, our system is broken - and it is going to remain that way until the money is taken out of politics. Lets just hope Bernie wins this time - because for now he seems like our best chance to make some of the radical changes that are necessary.
