Think of the cost to all of us when cities like Camden, Baltimore and Trenton implode because of cheaper imports.
It didn't have to be that way.
For example, several of the supporters of Medicare For All have recognized that millions of people in the insurance industry will be displaced if it passes and that provision should be made in that bill to ease the transition and help the affected people who want them to get new jobs.
Those are hardworking people trying to make a living.
Ruining lives while trying to improve others is not progress.
