Your citation seems to suggest an invitation to the Israeli premier to address Congress was kept secret from Obama because it was believed he'd interfere with the invitation. The objection is that the constitution says POTUS "shall receive ambassadors and other public ministers” from foreign governments which obligation was denied him.

It appears the House Leader felt Obama would not follow this obligation (assuming "shall" implies obligation) and then acted as if two wrongs make a right. So I get what you're saying. However:

1) Reuters correctly called the representative out on this.

2) Your citation also quotes Washington on the reason for this role- that the Constitution designated POTUS the “sole channel of official intercourse” with foreign nations. And yet, here's a tweet from Maxine Waters in May 2018:

"Trump, further isolating the United States, thinks he knows better than our negotiators and all of our global allies who agreed to the Iran deal. How long do we have to suffer his gigantic ego and narcissistic behavior? Impeachment is the only answer."

Where's Reuters or anybody in the MSM reminding her of her own role vs POTUS' role in the Constitution? In 2015, Reuters quoted Jefferson on POTUS conducting sensitive private negotiations of which Congress might not be made aware, at POTUS' discretion. Why wasn't that quoted again in 2018?

Here's Schumer's public scold after Trump's Iran withdrawal: "Impress upon [Trump] how critically important it is for him to join you and the leadership of our intelligence community in speaking with a unified and accurate voice about national security threats."

Shame Chuck didn't follow his own advice on unified voice- and he's got it around the wrong way on the Constitution, as if POTUS is supposed to follow the lead of published words of unelected others in such matters. So again- where's the MSM upholding the constitution? Giving Schumer a platform is where the MSM is.

Could go on forever. If you want to know why Trump calls the MSM the enemy of the people, maybe allowing a platform for unconstitutional rants to attempt thinly disguised political hits, is part of the reason. Just contrast Reuters' defense of Obama's role with the enthusiastic promotion of rhetoric against Trump and it's embarrassing, or ought to be...

Which brings me to my earlier point about sabotage or undermining of POTUS on Iran and North Korea for example. Strangely, it's not easy to find one of the most recent examples that has a CNN sig but proves very difficult to locate: on DuckDuckgo Breitbart tops the list with no MSM in sight. "... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
