IMHO the MSM's ratings slide, particularly CNN's, show that people are turning off all the ranting. They'd rather not hear it. Maybe your buddies would feel the same way if a Walter Cronkite lookalike popped up with an alternative news channel dedicated to fixing the problem, not only ever the blame.
