Sure! That makes a real "splash screen" although it may be a bit plain - just a plain image resource à la png or jpg. I also currently do that with boxedapp. I disabled the VFP-based one and I like it.

I expect you do that from your preferred packer. I just could not use VFP without a packer anymore in 2019. A highly compact zero-installer "green" executable is really a bonus IMVHO. But I understand why people still resist them:-)
