The percentage of cases when it's pronounced directly (as in "he") is probably in single digits. Maybe spellt as "Jugo" would be less ambiguous in Arhentina? But then you'd have more trouble in Canadah and Americah.

Not necessarily, I used to work with a guy who's name was spelled 'Jorge' but pronounced it 'George' and would get MOST upset if someone pronounced it 'hor-hay'. Unfortunately, here in Central Texas, a lot of people pronounced it 'hor-hay'.
