>A recent thread occurred asking to remove a hyperlink in Metin’s signature. The reason given was that there was a link to undesirable content and which also “… made a mockery to WWII survivors”. Now the UT has updated its usage policies to say that any content which contains (1) conspiracy theory, (2) misinformation, or (3) extremist thoughts can result in a site banning and I assume the signature hyperlink removal request has led to this change. Being curious I looked at the 3 hyperlinks in Metin’s signature. 2 go to some coding examples. 1 goes to a freegaza.org website. Is this last hyperlink that one that is being requested to be removed?

I would not bet against it...
I only looked at a few pages, did not like it (sob story about overpopulated area, and half of the population are children? Children percentage not the fault of Israel, but responsibility of the parents having/making those children...) but also did not understand the WWII reference or the heat it generated from the content. Intent argueably/probably different (swaying opinion by (from what I saw tuned down) propaganda of in Lenins terms "useful idiots"), but on content alone ?

Arguing from the statistics from Germany it might be hard to define "extremist", as distribution density fluctuates wildly - in some areas right/populist opinions are near normal, in other areas not.

Any ex cathedra decision IMO is better than asking for conformity to some norm - invites only others to "define" the norm by making (for me) unwanted noise.
