I'm generating a batch file to call pkzip25.exe (the last dos version from Phil Katz, from 1998) using Ed Rauh's api_apprun, which is a wrapper around a few API calls to launch a process. Doing this since 1998 in this shape or that and it still works. Still haven't made a zip that others can't read, no matter how big.
