we've probably seen the things in movies and TV where there's a timer on bomb indicating barely a 2 minutes before it goes off, but the hero needs to fight off the villain. The hero is able to fight the villain off (in a fight lasting 5 minutes), gets to the bomb and disarms it (in a scene lasting nearly a minute as he is doing various "technical" things such as cutting wires, shorting terminals, pressing some secret code, etc.), with barely a second to spare.

I've always wondered if there has ever been a depiction in film or TV where there's an obvious time discrepancy like the following:
scene with two people conversing over the phone phone (presumably because of some physical distance between them), ending with one of them saying "I'll be right over." Camera follows person leaving house/apartment/office, entering car car and driving away (presumably to location some distance away). Then there is a scene cut where person arrives at destination, getting out of the car, then stepping through door just as the other character is putting down the phone from the earlier conversation.
